6 Ingredient Apple Tart

These are so easy and delicious, perfect for fall!

Ingredients: 1 lb Puff Pastry
4 Organic Granny Smith Apples
2/3 Cup sugar
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Lemon Juice
Egg Wash (1 Egg + 1 TBS Water beaten)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 415 Degrees. Thaw Puff Pastry according to box directions.
Peel apples and cut into 1/2 inch slices, place in large bowl. Pour lemon juice over apples to prevent browning. Combine cinnamon and sugar, pour 1/2 mixture over apples. Save the other half of the sugar.
Cut puff pastry into 12 pieces. Boxed puff pastry usually has 2 sheets, so cut each sheet into 6 pieces. Place pieces on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Place a few slices of apples into the puff pastry. Sprinkle some of the excess cinnamon sugar over the apples in the puff pastry. Pull the 4 corners of the puff pastry to meet in the middle. Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon sugar.
Place in oven, bake about 15 min, or until golden.
Serve while hot. I like to pair these with homemade whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
